**ALL participants qualify automatically for the State Games of West, a 13 state regional competition, held in Colorado Springs, CO. on July 24-27, 2008 ***All medal winners (1st, 2nd & 3rd) qualify for the State Games of America, a National multi-sport competition July 30-Aug 2, 2009 also in Colorado Springs CO.

LOCATIONS: Fountain Hills HS, Fountain Hills Middle School, Salt River Rec Center, Fort McDowell Rec. Center, and Salt River HS - in Fountain Hills area AZ - *All play on full courts.

ENTRY FEE: $300/per team.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Early registration (postmarked on or before) July 5, 2008 after that date add $20 late fee. Late entry deadline July 12, 2008 (must be received in the Games Office) - add $20 late fee. *Any entry after July 12th will be accepted only with the Commissioners approval and will be based on space availability – add $20 late fee.

THERE ARE 3 GRADE EXCEPTIONS FOR THE BOYS TEAMS DIVISIONS 9U THRU 14U. THERE ARE NO LIMITS ON THE NUMBER OF GRADE EXCEPTIONS FOR 15U THRU JUNIOR BOYS DIVISION

For proof of grade exception a player must bring school documention~ i.e report card

Basic Division Clarifications:

In addition to providing birth certificates at check in, teams must carry all players birth certificates throughout the tournament
There are no additions to the roster, once you have submitted your roster for the first game, it is locked for the remainder of the tournament
A player may play up in an older division but CAN NOT play down
No player is allowed to play on two teams in the same division but may play on two teams in two different divisions (i.e a 12 year old can play on a team in U12 and another team in the U13 division)

RULES:

Age limits for rosters as per AAU Rules: Boys ages determined as of 9/1; Girls as of 7/1.
If less than 4 teams sign up in any division, other arrangements will be made.
No player allowed to play on two teams in same division. Each team is guaranteed at least three games.
Each team must supply own jerseys with visible numbers on back.
