International Summer Games

 

Tennis

 

This summer competition will be utilizing the Double Elimination or Consolation Draw to guarantee 2 matches. This State Games tournament will be sanctioned – sign-up early to assure your participation. Each Draw limited to the 1st sixteen entrants per division. Awards will follow each division.


LOCATION: June 13-15, 2008 - Indian School Park in Scottsdale.


IN ADDITION: By participating all competitors automatically qualify for the State Games of the West Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 24-27, 2008. The event will feature approximately 8,000 athletes from thirteen Western States competing for State pride & medals. Competition will be held at venues such as the US Air Force Academy & the US Olympic Training Center.


ENTRY FEES: $25 first event, $12 each additional event.


ENTRY DEADLINE:Early entry deadline (postmarked on or before) May 31, 2008. After that date add $5 late fee. Late entry deadline June 9, 2008 (must be received in Games office). Any entry after June 9th will be accepted only with Commissioners approval and will be based on space availability – add $5 late fee.

 

REGISTRATION OPTIONS INCLUDE: going to the USTA website at www.usta.com, GCSG website at www.gcsg.org or mail/fax enclosed entry form to the location listed on the enclosed entry form.


DIVISIONS: (Players may enter up to 2 events) USTA Rules will govern play.
