Winter Games
Basketball - Girls
LOCATIONS: March 20-22, 2009, play will be held at Carl Hayden HS,
Camelback HS, North HS, Sunnyslope HS, Phoenix Prep.,
Salt River Rec & other sites if needed.
TOURNAMENT BENEFITS:
• Affordable $325 price with a minimum 3 game guarantee

• Entry fee discounts for multiple team entries
• Divisions played at one location whenever possible
• The top finisher in the Winter Games in each division will be
awarded free entry into the International Summer Games.
• All Winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd) qualify for the State Games of America, a national
multi sport competition held July 30th - August 2nd, 2009 in Colorado Springs, CO.
ENTRY FEE: $325/per team. All teams guaranteed 3 games. “If Game” for all Double
elimination brackets, multiple team entry discounts available by contacting Executive Director, Erik
Widmark at the State Games Office at 480-517-9700.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Early entry deadline (postmarked on or before) March 7, 2009. After that date add $20
late fee. Late entry deadline must be received in the State Games Office by March 14th. Any entry after
March 14th will be accepted only with the Commissioners approval and will be based on space
availability - add $20 late fee.

WINTER RULES: FOR BOTH WEEKENDS
• Age limits for rosters as per AAU Rules. Girls as of 7/1.
• If less than 4 teams sign up in any division, other arrangements will be made.
• No player allowed to play on two teams in same division. Each team is guaranteed at least three games.
• Each team must supply own jerseys with visible numbers on back.
• Officials provided by Don Logan.
